bobo&boo engaged Jagged Edge Communications to assist with SEO copywriting services in June 2015 when their online shopfront was being designed. And the results bobo&boo has achieved since then have been pretty incredible!
They’ve shot up to page one of Google – and that’s happened organically; not requiring any expensive Google AdWord advertising. They’ve gone from an online shopfront to having stockists all around Australia, just recently taking on their first stockist in New Zealand and in October will be launching throughout Europe. Meanwhile, their range has grown from bamboo dinnerware sets available in four colours, to seven colours (and growing), new products and packages.

Now search engine optimisation (SEO) doesn’t happen overnight – depending on competition it can take 90+ days to just start seeing results, and ‘results’ doesn’t necessarily mean page one placements. The success of the SEO is dependent on a few things:

Before we go much further, we’ll just quickly explain how blogging helps…
You’ve probably heard that ‘content is king’ when it comes to SEO – and that’s true, but not in that every page needs to be thesis length (300-500 words is best). It would probably be more accurate to say ‘fresh content is king’. And since you can only update your About page so many times, blogging is the answer.
The more frequently you update your website, the more frequently search engines will stop by to crawl and index your pages. Every time you write a blog post, it’s one more indexed page on your website; thus one more opportunity for you to show up in search engines and drive traffic to your website in organic search.
Also, more recent posts are given more authority on search engines because recent information is likely to be more relevant to the user than something written three years ago, for example.
